I’ve been trying to acquire a number 71 or 71 1/2 off ebay for a few weeks and keep getting sniped off. That led me to search for modern providers. I just stumbled across the new tools section on St. James Bay’s website and see that they now offer router planes cast in bronze (the larger plane looks like an earlier type 1 or 2 number 71). Does anyone have any experience with these planes?
(Yes, I know Lee Valley is now making router planes and Stanley England still produces them, but i am specifcally interested in the St. James Bay plane)
Thanks in advance

I don't have any experience with this specific plane by St James but Bob Howard does know how to make planes.
