Does anyone know where I can get plans for building a stagecoach that would be a couple of feet long? The Smithsonian has some but do not give the scale (1/8) is to small. I am looking for a mantle piece that I don’t need to be a mathematician to build. Maybe a good project for F.W. Who doesn’t like a stagecoach! Thanks to all.

Hi Alex,
Just a crazy thought...try contacting Wells Fargo. They are now merged with Loomis, I believe. Their PR or customer service dept. With their history and I'm sure models of their own they may be able to help. Also museums in the west that deal with transport. The town of Columbia, Ca (entire town is a living/working park/museum)
good luck
bum
Thanks for the new ideas.

A bit late but I recalled seeing a lead and just found it! If you
go to http://homepage.ntlworld.com/scalemodel.hdvs/index.htm or scale
model horse drawn vehicles via google you should be spoilt for
choice.
Good luck!

And if that does not work try Barrie Voisey Plans.
You hit the nail on the head !!!! Thanks for the effort. Great web sites.
