I am thinking of upgrading our walk-in closet and was planning to build something similar to a “California Closets” look, with lots of wood and drawers/shelves for storage. I would like to stain the wood to give it a more classy look but am concerned that the stain smell will ruin the clothes. I will avoid staining the inside of the drawers but am more concerned about all the rest of the wood.

Does anyone know if there is product out there that will eliminate the stain smell (or a stain that doesn’t smell)?

Any help would be appreciated.
