Stanley “Happy Carpenters” Advertising Figures
Years ago, Stanley Tools created over a dozen cardboard figures called the “Happy Carpenter” series for advertising. Most were advertising a specific Stanley tool, and an actual tool was displayed alongside the carboard figure. I suspect that the originals are quite valuable to Stanley collectors.
I’ve often thought that it would be great if someone scanned these figures so that others could make their own cutouts for display in their workshop. It shouldn’t negatively affect the value of the originals, as it would be obvious that they were home made replicas.
I haven’t been able to find much info on these online. Does anyone have any leads or suggestions?
I would be happy to pay a reasonable amount for images that I could use to create my own.
