Recently on that (in)famous auction site, #1s in good condition have been going for around $1200 +/- $250 (mostly +), up to as much as $2,000 for planes in pristine shape.
#2s have been going for around $350 to $800, depending on type and condition.
Ball park figures. Been more #2s than #1s on in the past couple of months.
Hope this of some use.

If you're wanting them to have a complete range of sizes to work with, of course, you can get 'em a LOT cheaper new from other makers, like LN. You already got a great answer on actual vintage Stanley prices.
Thanks for the post. I realize that other brands of planes are cheaper than original Stanley 1s and 2s. However, I am not interested in new brands, only old Stanleys.
Thanks for the info. I have only actually seen 1 No. 1 and 2 No. 2s in my life. I wouldn't want them to use, as a block plane will do anything they will do but aren't they cut little things?
Try this website. Bob Kaune is one of the best and his tools are top notch.

wdrite,
I will agree for the most part with pzgren. I thought his estimates were a little high on the #2 so I checked Stanley #2's on ebay that have already sold recently. Prices were 289, 240, 197, 192, 202, 177, 205, and 200.
As you probably know, 2 equal planes, the dirty one will sell for less than the clean one, generally.
I paid $150 for one at an auction. I bought a K2 (Keen Kutter #2, which is an early Stanley Bedrock #2 for $65 on ebay). About a month ago I picked up a #2 in an antique store for $25.00. And, it is the best of the three. 99% jappaning, etc.
pzgren is right that #1s are rare. There is at least one on ebay right now with the bids at $685. Has a hairline crack or two.
There are at least 3 or 4 #2s ranging from $141 to $450.

There's a dealer in Mittagong NSW Australia with 3 or 4 No 1s in a cabinet. Prices seemed to start at about $AUS2,000 and go up to near 3k.
