Hello,
I bought a Stanley No50 in good condition, but without an instruction booklet.
Does anyone know where I can find (and download) the instructions as a document?
Thank you all.
Tony

Hi Tony Your plane looks like a stripped down Stanley 45 or 55. There are reprinted instruction books for both of these planes. Try http://www.mjdtools.com for one of these books. Within the past year, someone posted a website that also has the whole book posted.
Hope this helps... SawdustSteve
Thanks for the help, but I didn't find the message with the link to download the book.
Help!

I believe he thought the manual was available for sale at MJD, not downloadable. A quick google search using the term ...
manual for stanley 50
got this site ...
http://www.tooltrip.com/tooltrip8/stanley/comb-planes/stan-com.htm
I can't open it with all the blocks I have on my pc at work but it shows a pdf manual listed.
Hi Rick,
thanks for the effort, but the link to the pdf-file doesn't work.
This has nothing to do with the blocks on your pc.
The search goes on.
