I am looking for parts with which to resore a Stanley champher plane # 72. I need frog, and irons. I have the beading attachment but missing the beading irons. Can you help me? or would you like to buy the parts and do your own resteration?

You might try contacting Clarence Blanchard who publishes 'Fine Tool Journal'. He also buys and sells old tools. Phone number is (207) 688-4962. Another and maybe better possibility is Patrick Leach. Don't have a phone number for him but he runs Superior Tool Works and also sells old tools and parts. He handles a lot of Stanley and is something of an authority on them (author of Patrick's 'Blood and Gore' guide to Stanley). I'm sure you can get a phone number or e-mail address by doing a search for Superior Tool Works.
