Steel Clip to Attach Measuring Tape

I need your help finding a product.
Want to be able to clip my measuring tape to my shop apron; I’ve been clipping it to an apron pocket, but that just wears out the fabric and makes the pocket sag.
I’ve seen tool belts that have a broad u-shaped steel plate riveted to a piece of stiff leather, to which you can clip a measuring tape, but haven’t been able to find them sold separately.

Hey Jamie,Hilarious product! In my family, we've always solved the problem with bib overalls. My wife hates them; calls 'em my "Earl Suit" (from the Men in Black movie). She may hate them, butt it beats the alternative.Tom
