Has anyone out there seen the latest installment of the Star Wars films, “Attack of the Clones”? Did anyone besides myself happen to catch that particular scene in the Princess’ room where in the background looks to be two Frank Lloyd Wright chairs? Possibly Stickleys? I couldn’t help but notice. NO, I’m not a Sci-fi geek, but it was nice to see something so real to all of us to be in such a film.

I too noticed that chair! It look like a Stickley or Morris to me, but it was a quick shot.

actually guys, i believe it was a charles rennie makintosh. too fine lined for stickley...
Nope. Not Mackintosh, It was a stickley design still in production. George Lucas is a big Arts and Crafts collector, probably tossed them in for yucks. My wife and I noticed it immediately. Leave it to woodworkers to notice this.
A bit to subtle I think for CRM, I really think it was Frank lloyd Wright, (he did design alot of furniture, sort of an offtake of general mission style) or it was late Stickley. I guess its silly to argue about it. May the force be with you.
