What helped me was a 48" x 42" x 33" H cabinet under the table saw outfeed table and a 42" x 33" x 33" H cabinet under the table saw side support table.
I screw some jigs to the ceiling. Wooden, flat ones only, not anything I may bang my head on.

Any flat based jig(sleds, shooting boards, bench hooks) or even smaller bench power tools ( mounted on ply bases )that are little used are hung high on the wall on large nails driven into the studs with a slight upward pitch. The heavier ones get a two stud hang. It really keeps the seldom used items out of the way. Hope this helps. Pat
edit -I realize the walls are full, my stuff hangs right at the ceiling line, and yes I had to do some house cleaning and rearangement to free that space. pfh

Good luck, Lou

I'm still trying to tackle the picture problem on the computer.
I will as soon as I figure out how.
Jeff
Sardog,
Are the jigs ones that you realistically expect to use again or were they made for one-off projects that are just "too good the throw away"? Sometimes it's easier to make another jig if it's ever needed, than it is to kick around and stumble over something that "might" come in handy one day. (Not that I actually throw anything away myself!)

These are the normal jigs I use day to day.
Table saw sleds (5 or 6).
Router jigs and sleds (at least a dozen)
Router fences for different uses.
Etc.

What we need is a "transformer jig" that we can reconfigure to do 20 or 30 different things!forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)

Great
Now I'll have another jig and a bunch of mini-jigs to go with it.
Like that commercial, I'll have them multiplying like rabbits.
As an aside, I found in my cleaning up another set of set up blocks, marked for the uses that they are for (Box sides, frame clamps, etc.).
Jeff
"...marked for the uses that they are for...." Oh, jeez, way to easy. ROFL!forestgirl -- you can take the girl out of the forest, but you can't take the forest out of the girl ;-)

Maybe I should have said marked for their use, but cryptic enough that I'm not 100% sure what use or jig fixture they belong to.
My newer ones are better marked (yeah right!).

wooden "shelf/drawer" between the overhead joists. hinged on one end and a stop to keep it in place when up. when needed - I unlatch, let it down and the items are there to remove.
My ceiling are all finished and too high for storage.
Plus, between lights, air pipes, dust collection pipes, etc. way too hard.
Tho, I have thought of hanging some from the air pipes, till I bang boards and things on them.
