Ron,
You can call Michael Dunbar directly at 603/ 929-9801. If you can't reach him directly, ask one of his staff members, they'll be able to tell you where to go.

RON the strap hinges dunbar used came from Ball@Ball hardware.
Thanks everyone
Ron,
Since strap hinges turn a full 360 until they fall back on themselves, what difference would insideoutside make? Just curious, because I recently got some and they have a wide range of prices. Hand made wrought iron ones can easily top 2 or $300 a pair. $15 from Van Dyke fit my needs.

The chest that I'm making has a 1 inch thick lid 22 X 42 Oak and is heavy.
The hinge I wanted- the leaf has a L shape bend on the lower part and extends down the inside.
With the hinge on the inside its more secure you cant get to the pin so easy to drive it out.
I guess the reason I want the FORGED Hinge is the way it looks and how its made.
I want something Strong that looks good and wont split the back.
