   Doug,

   Most of the time, FWW articles will have sources listed in the magazine, either at the end of the article or at the back of the issue.  If you do not have access to the article, or FWW doesn't list it (I don't have that issue in front of me right now), try contacting Mike directly at his website (worth a shot!):

   For the same money check out http://www.horton-brasses.com/products/handforgediron you are wanting the Forged Strap hinges right? I bought mine from Horton and could not have been happier with the quality very nice top of the line. I looked at both and chose Horton Brasses.

   Look under specialty hardware in the hand forge section

   I think the ones he used were from Ball & Ball

   If you go back to Fine Woodworking home and look under links I think there is a web add, for Horton and Ball & Ball Hardware.
