What’s the best stripper for water based poly? I remember reading something about problems stripping water based finishes.
This is water based poly (Minwax) over water based stain (Parks). Pretty ugly. Will the stripper remove any of the stain, too (I’d like it to)?
Will any of the peel-away products work on water based poly?
Thanks.

Use any paint and varnish stripper. Those containing methylene chloride are strongest.
DonH,
I've used 3M Safest Stripper on my front door (fiberglass door stained and finished with water based poly) with good success. Don't know how it would perform on wood though.
