i hope this is the right place, i am new here. I am going to help a friend with her business. we have 170 wood chairs that need to be stripped, restained, and reupholstered.
we are trying to figure out the smartest way to do this. the chemical stripper process seems very long, tedious, and messy. is it possible to have the chairs sandblasted or something similar?
we ned to complete 20 chairs per week and have very little help.
thanks.

just have them
professionally stripped by a furniyure refinishing outfit. some do have some pretty good systems.
sandblasting chews up the softwood

There isn't any way to do that except for a professional shop that will probably dip them. Have you considered just painting them?
