Stub spindle for RS-15 (5hp delta shaper
I have a RS-15 which I would like to use for making doors and possibly windows with a mortise and tenon joint, which requires a cope joint with a stub spindle. I have a 3/4″, 1-1/4″, and a 1/2″ router collet spindle. What are my options for doing this? Thanks for the help.

Last I knew Delta made a stub spindle for the HD shapers. I don't recognize the RS-15 number. Delta is putting a lot more parts and manuals in pdf form on the website. Contact Delta about the stub spindle other wise a machine shop could make one but off the shelf is always cheaper.
Rick,
As far as I know, the delta stub spindle available will not fit my machine, as it was made for the smaller shapers, not the RS-15. Thanks, Ken.
Then have a machine shop make one.

Charles Schmidt would probably make one as they are tooling experts and would understand the criteria needed for such a thing.
