I have a client who wants this table top refinished. There are two leafs that go with it that have been protected from the sun and are drastically different in color. Do you guys think this will sand out? I’m also not sure if this is veneer or not. As of today I’ve only seen pictures of the piece. I’m not sure if she wants to stain (I hope not!) or keep it natural. How would you approach this? I tried to download photos but apparently the file is too big. Any ideas on this too? LOL

The max file size for attachments (pictures) is 3 MB. If you can figure out how to adjust the size of the picture, you can attach it. I get help from my wife for that.
We'd really need to see what sort of wood it is, and especially if it's veneer. Way too many questions.
If it's a photo reactive wood such as cherry, simply leaving it in bright sun will even out the color.
