WoooHooo!!! Got my Sunhill jointer setup this past weekend. The guy even unloaded for me and put it in my shop. Didn’t have any trouble putting it together. Unlike some of the things I had read, the motor was mounted and the switch was wired up. I just had to mount the table on the stand, hook up the fence and bolt on the table extensions. The only thing I had to mess with was the wings. I needed to file off some of the two washers on the infeed table because they got in the way when i tightened the wing bolts. Not a real big deal, but kinda funny. I also had to shim the wings a tad to get them coplaner.
I have to say, that it was setup pretty good from the factory. I just adjusted the outfeed table slightly and I was off. It runs smooth and cuts great with plenty of power. Fit and finish were good. I’m real pleased with it. I’m looking forward to being able to clean up my table saw cuts with it instead of having to sand them.
For the money, this seems to be a real good jointer. I would recommend it.
