Hi,
Does anyone own any Sunhill machinery? I’m particularly interested in opinions from someone who owns a Sunhill jointer. I’m looking into buying one used.
Thanks,
Darren

I have the 6" and it's great. It's hard to distinquish between it and a Jet except for color and the longer bed on the 6". Have not actually seen the 8" but could only assume it is comaparable as it comes from the GeeTech plant.
If the price is right, I would go for it!

I've got the 8" 4-knife model and am very happy with it.
It came set up perfect out of the box.
Be sure to specify 'liftgate service' as it's way to heavy for one man to lift.
The Sunhill 6" jointer is made at the same plant where Grizzly, Jet, Bridgewood and others are made. They all get good reports, plus the Sunhill has the benefit of extensions on the tables.
I bought the six inch last November, it worked perfectly from the box and even came with an extra set of knives. I would definetly go for it if the price is right. I paid &390.00 including freight to SF bay Area.
