Hey All,
Sorry to hear about FG’s fender bender. Does anyone have a Sunhill shaper? I
am looking for a 3 HP shaper for occasional production work and am considering the Sunhill with a feeder. Anyone?
Thanks!
John

I have a sunhill feeder and it works perfectly. Also, they are very responsive when you call for help or advice, which I did when I had to rewire the feeder for 110v.

I don't have the Sunhill Shaper nor know of anyone that does. I saw Rob post and thought I would second his motion on good service from Sunhill. I do have the Sunhill jointer and it is bascially the same as Jet with a 52" table bed. The price was right and the piece is very well made for a $325 jointer as opposed to the $499 tag on the Jet.
If you do get one, I would be most appreciative if you get back and give some feed-back as I would consider it down the road and there is not much data to base a decision on.
Good Luck with what-ever you decide...
