Greetings all,
I am looking for a supplier of hardwood (specially walnut, cherry and poplar), rough sawn is no problem, 4/4 5/4, hopefully the source within a 75 mile radius of Trenton NJ.

I seem to recall that FWW (or maybe some other magazine I read) published the address of a web site not too long ago that listed all the hardwood suppliers in the US. Have you browsed for anything like this already?
In Trenton you can try Willard Brothers. In Belle Mead try Agincourt. I don't have phone numbers handy. Of course, within 75 miles you have SE Pennsylvania - Quarryville, etc which has some of the best cherry anywhere in the country. Try Groff and also Hearne. There are probably dozens of small mills scattered throughout that area.
Ben,
Thanks for the response, I have been to Willard Bros.. Looking for someplace with larger quanity of stock and a slighly better price would not hurt either.. I have never checked the source in Belle Mead
I am in Northern Bergen County, NJ and I use Hearne Hardwoods, just outside of Philadelphia. I have them deliver to me, and they specialize in cherry. They have done a great job for me.

Rick,
Thanks for the suggestion..
Hi Bob, I have used both Groff & Groff in Quarryvill Pa, and Hearns Hardwood in oxford Pa. Both are great places to deal with, Groff has a better selection IMHO. It would be hard to wrong at either place.
I've been to Groff & Groff a couple times, definitely recommend it. You can select your own when you get there or call ahead and they'll get it ready for you.
