Hey Swen ! – I have a saw I want to give you to add to that collection of junk you have in your workshop –
Let me know what you think about this saw – I put a new blade on it for you. I can’t find the fence –

Wow
Now, that is a job-site saw. If the patina on the table is the color of dried blood, it might never have had a fence. ;-)

Ralph,
Had to make Swen an offer he couldn't refuse - hopefully he won't leave me hanging ?
Where are you Swen ? Give me a high sign - This saw is not going to last long before someone grabs it !

True
The acquisition of such a precision instrument is, indeed, an opportunity of a lifetime.
When I was a child growing up in the late '40s and early '50s, I'd spend time during the summer at my great-uncle's home in Pasadena. He had a similar saw that he had made from an old table, a pillow block bearing and a spare electric motor. He used it for cutting kindling for my great grandmother's wood stove that she used for cooking, even then. Fortunately, he never let me use it.
