Currently working on a dining room extension table. Nearing completion, have come across an issue which I am looking for best solution to resolve. Table has 6 aprons, 2 end & 4 side (extension table). The top of one of the end aprons is 1/16″ lower than the top of the table leg, causing a small gap where the table top will be secured. What is the best way to resolve this? I was thinking of ripping a thin pc of veneer with the grain running in the same direction, gluing and hand planing? Please advise your comments
