Hi everybody,
i am looking at buying a table saw, I mainly want to make chest of drawers cabinets and small pieces of furniture. At the moment i struggle with a small bench type saw. I have just started renting a unit to work from so I have a bit more room for a decent one. I live in the uk and have been looking for a couple of weeks and found a few.
Has anybody got the kity 419 or the electra bekham one that is similar. Also would these type of saws do the job I have in mind or would I have to pay that extra 2-300 £s for a panel saw.
Thanks in advance
Phil

You would probably do better with UK forums as the equipment discussions would be more pertinent to the tools available. Kitty and Electra Beckum are very rare in the states.

Try doing a search for others. I noticed the UK woodworking mags are starting to list more websites these days. I see more small sliders available there. I'd go for the slider personally. It's worth the extra price in the long run.
