Table saw bevel panel, off cut on fence side
I remember reading an article, I am pretty sure it was in FWW, on how to cut a beveled panel on the table saw – the unusual feature was that the off-cut is on the fence side. The jig was similar to the Bob Van Dyke or John White versions of a reinforced higher vertical fence that slips over the stock fence. There was a relief cut at the lower face so that the off-cut would not be trapped (akin to how an L-fence allows an off-cut on the fence side without binding) . This method should minimize burning on the panel face. I have searched numerous times but can not locate the original article or video. Any help appreciated.
