Hi All. I would like to hear from people that have experience with the general international 50-185 table saw. I am considering purchase of this saw for my shop. It will be used for general carpentry and building colonial reproduction furniture as a hobby.
Thanks for any input you can give.

I am running one in my shop and I have had no problems with it. I wired it 220 as soon as I got it home as the 2hp motor was a big draw on my 110 line. I got rid of the base and installed it on top of a 2' x 4' base that I built and then added a 6' x 4' side table and out feed table with a router insert. I use the saw a lot and have never had any problems with it. I rip a lot of 2" hard maple and birch and it does it without any trouble.
