Table Saw outfeed table/extension/roller
I work alone most of the time and I’m looking for a way to support long stock on the table saw. Initially, HTC rollers looked like an easy way out, but it seems as if the rollers aren’t perfectly aligned, they could guide the work away from or into the fence. I use a single roller now which does exactly that. I’ve read mixed reviews of Delta’s extension table and it’s not as wide as I’d like. Dwayne Intveld’s extensions in FWW#163 are a bit of overkill for my circumstance. Has anyone seen anything else pre-manufactured out there?

Quickstep,
These aren't cheap, but I've never used anything else that works as well:

If you are lucky enough to live close enough to one of the travelling "Woodworking Shows" you can often land a "show deal" and save on the regularly advertised prices.
They also make some of the finest router lifts and incremental positioning systems available.
I hope this helps!

Can't remember right now who makes it, but I've seen outfeed for table saw that's connected to the saw by angle-iron on the sides of the saw. These can be removed/folded down. Always looked to me pretty easy to build. I'll see if I can find 'em for you.

Here it is:

I discarded by fixed outfeed extension on my unisaw. I replaced it with a rolling cabinet that serves effectively as an outfeed table, and gives me much need storage, plus I can just roll it out of the way when I don't need it. For the table top I used a solid core door (actaully it was one of the those commercial doors 1.5 hour fire rated doors, it's super heavy) mounted on my cabinet with some homemade height adjustors that let me dial it in perfectly level and to the height of my tablesaw.
I've had an HTC outfeed table on my Unisaw for 15 years or so. It works just fine.
I've used the HTC roller outfeed table and it works fine. It's not fair to compare a single roller stand with the HTC. No comparison. For my saw I made a hinged outfeed table that swings out of the way. Bracket arms are attached to the saw so it still rolls with the saw.
Somebody makes outfeed roller stand with a bunch of bearings instead of a roller -- kind of like upside-down computer mice. They let the stock move irrespective of the orientation of the stand. I think the usual tool suppliers have 'em.

Those types of roller balls are not that great. A slippery flat surfcace is better. HD's rigid line has a stand with a smooth plastic surface that tips at an angle to catch the stock. One of the best I've seen for $30. Omni directional so it doesn't steer the material.
What he's talking about is made by RIDGID. I have one for the jobsite and I am going to buy another for other end of my sliding compound saw set-up....they work great for tablesaws, like he said, too. They really save having to be a Directional Wizard, like with the rollers....I used to use them all the time, now I just go with these.
