I own the DeWalt 10″ contractor’s saw and want to upgrade. Need a bigger table is part of it. Would appreciate any recommendations/comments on saws priced up to $1,500. Thanks.

Hybrid or Cabinet?
Could be either one. Not sure I really know the pros and cons of each. Partly why I'm looking for some feedback and input.
I have a Grizzly G1023. Good saw, made much better by the Beissmeier fence I added a while back.
And whatever you do, invest in the 220v. Any 110v saw is going to bog down, but unless you're running dead blade through a tree trunk, you should be happy with a 220v saw.

"Yes, dear..."
Mine came with the bessy clone fence. Was that the one you replaced? Just curious, mine has never given me a wink of an issue.
Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.
one more thought- invest in good blades. I was lucky to buy good blades for my TS when I started, soI never noticed a problem there. However, i had the out-of-the-box blade on my Hitachi SCMS, and it was awful. Shelled out for another Freud blade and was much happier.
I also invested in a very accurate digital caliper to set it up well.
Taken with my comments on the fence (abpove) and what I'm saying is a couple hundred bucks in accessories will take an OK saw and make it really good."Honey, will you please make some sawdust and track it across the carpet?"

If you are wanting a cabinet and can run 220, I would reccomend you taking a good look at the Grizzly. I bought the 1023slx a few years back and it has been an excellent buy. Accurate and beefy enough to handle what ever you could throw at it.

I just set up a Delta 10 inch hybrid. It seem pretty nice so far.
