I am looking for a new table saw. What type and manufacture do you recommend for under $1000?

Sorry to put you off, but the company rules don't allow me to recommend specific brands of machines. Whatever I say will get me in trouble with some manufacturer. Over the last few years we have tested and reviewed numerous saws in the magazine, you can find the reviews in our archives section and they should help you out.
If you can tell me about what you plan to do and the type of shop space you have I can probably give you some suggestions on the type of machine that will fit your needs.

Thanks for the reply. I understand the rules of the game. But, I am sure you have a favorite. I have a small shop ( 22'x24'). I generally work on small projects. Such as mirrors, side tables, tall clocks. etc. I really perfer a good saw table with a reliable fence. Thanks for taking the time to reply. I was waiting ...........
Perfect. Thank you very much.
