Hey all!
I am after a good table saw blade that produces a thick kerf (like 1/4″ or 5/16″ would be the ideal) to make finger joints. My table saw is a Stanley jobsite one with a short arbor, so the use of dado blades it’s out of question. Could anyone suggest me a blade model for this purpose? Freud preferred.
Thanks!

A box joint set may work. 2 blades that produce either a 1/4 or 3/8 kerf. I used a set on my old dewalt jobsite saw without issue. Try stacking two regular blades on your saw and if you can satisfactorily snug up the arbor nut then you’re likely good with a box joint blade set.
You could try 2 circ saw rip blades. No need for 10" blades for your finger joint application.
Yes. I think most any dado set can be set up just using the two outer blades to give you 1/4". And ten just add one or more of the chippers to get something thicker.
Thank you for the tips, fellows!
I just saw Woodpeckers brand Ultra-Shear released up to 1/4" FTG blades.
I ordered one for myself because I don't like dado stacks.
They are a bit pricey, though, as expected from them.

Freud makes a box joint set that I've used and can vouch for: as JF1 said, it's two blades, so a short stack, with the blades in one configuration you get a 1/4 inch groove; switch the blades and you get a 3/8 inch groove. I've also used just one blade at a time for a 7/32 inch groove. https://www.freudtools.com/products/SBOX8 This appears to be widely available at multiple retailers. You'd have to check specs to see if the two blades fit on your arbor.
