I have a 2hp contractor saw and want to upgrade. Will I see a difference in a 3hp or should I go to a 5hp?
Thank you.

Four Runner,
Presumably you are upgrading to a cabinet saw.
Unless you are going to be doing a lot of heavy ripping with a power feeder, a 3 horsepower saw will have plenty of power, and far more than 2 horse contractor's saws which lose a lot of power because of the long floppy belt drive.
