Hi all,
I’m looking to build a table top for a desk. I would like to avoid warping/cupping as much as possible. Is edge joining three 60” L x 9 1/4” 5/4 white oak boards with biscuits and glue good enough? Any wisdom that can help is greatly appreciated!

Yes. I recently did almost exactly the same except my boards were 4/4. Also, I did not use biscuits. They help keep the boards aligned while the glue dries, but add little if anything to the strength. If you can clamp the boards to a flat surface while the glue dries it works just as well. Of course, your boards should be flat and straight before you begin.
