Hi all. New to the forum, usually over at breaktime. I’m just starting into custom work aspect of construction and would like any recommendations on table top router tables for under or around $150. I’m assuming that this has been brought up before but couldn’t find anything in the archives. Any info would be appreciated.

Most people make their own tables or attach to the wing on the TS. You might consider making a table and fence with an insert, then attaching between two saw horses with quik-clamps. That's if you are on job site as I think I interupted.
Good Luck and you might want to calarify that for a better shot at replies.

That's exactly what I meant Sarge. Something that could be moved around jobsites and/or can be stored easily. Will be clearer next time.

Benazion has a good idea, or just plastic sawhorses. Should work like a charm as the real accuracy comes from the router, table-top and fence. The base for it is irrelevant as long as it's stable and secure during operation.
You can be up and running in no time.
Good Luck...

I set out to build something similar about a year ago. Then I couldn't figure out where I was going to store it. I was struck with the idea of just making the top and using my workmate for the legs. I cut a hole for the router plate in a piece of 3/4 melamine and screwed two square scraps to the bottom for the jaws of the workmate to grab on to. Works like a charm and is almost flat for storage.
