I’m planning to build a top from some reclaimed jatoba flooring. the stock is planed down to 9/16. 1want t0 glue it together to create a1 1/8 top Can anyone see a problem with this. the top will be 34 x64. with breadboard sides.

I might be wrong, but I'd
I might be wrong, but I'd think success would depend, in part, on the consistency of grain orientation (with respect to the face) among the boards being laminated. Inconsistencies in seasonal movement between the top and bottom boards could be an issue.
I use Jatoba all the time.. I LOVE it! I find it VERY stable.. However.. It WILL splinter a bit (more than just a bit)...
EDIT: I choose the 'sticks' with wild grain so maybe more of a problem for ME than YOU?
If you watch the grain pattern and follow the grain, I think you will be more than just OK when using it... Maybe even happy, you used it!
