i am looking into purchasing a lathe to turn plane knobs, chisel handles, etc. and i ran across this taig wood/metal lathe in lee valley…says you can turn threads and even mill flat surfaces with attachments..anyone have any experience with it?

I have one that I've used for turning pens - it's done very nicely for that, but I haven't tried the metalworking.
There's a Taig group. Lots and lots of discussion there, mostly about metalworking. A lot of it's about the Taig mills as well.
