I received a tail vise from Lee Valley for my birthday. It is the type with a 3 sided steel box. Any suggestions where I can get instructions or plans for building a tail vise into a workbench. I haven’t decided what type of bench to build so any comments in this area regarding vise locations would also be appreciated.

Wow, Lee Valley never sent me anything for my birthday.
You might be interested in one or both of the following books:
The Workbench
The Workbench Book
The first one is newer; but both contain plans for various kinds of workbenches. The latter one goes into a bit more detail on specific topics such as fitting vises.
There have also been several articles over the years in Fine Woodworking. If you have an online subscription, you can browse back issues online.
