I built the taper jig featured in the July/August issue of FW right after it came out. I finally got a chance to use it last week and think it is just about the best thing since sliced bread (to use an old metaphor). I was making the tapered legs for a coffee table and found that it is so much safer to use than the aluminum taper jig that I’ve had for a couple of years (and a wooden one before that). Keep up the great articles. Thank you.

I could not agree more! Now who wants a used aluminium taper jig? Thanks, FW.
