This persistent pop-up is now appearing multiple times whenever I log in to FWW.
It requires permission for Taunton to engage in sharing of information, some personal, with third parties for marketing purposes.
The pop-up provides access to the Taunton “privacy” policy. The policy describes wide latitude in the distribution of personal information to third parties.
Near the end of the policy are two opt-out mechanisms. One is an email directly to Taunton to request opt-out. The other is an opt-out tool for a variety of third parties (none of which I recognize).
I have done both and the pop-up continues to appear. As a user group (and paying customers of Taunton) we deserve better than this. Someone from Taunton ( not Ben) should join this forum to provide an explanation.

UPDATE
According to the Taunton privacy policy, it is also possible to opt-out by calling Taunton Customer Service. However the number provided in the policy is not working. The correct number is 866-288-4241.
I just got off the phone with “Jason” at Taunton Customer Service. He said that he had opted me out of third party disclosures and that the website pop-up should disappear “in a short time.”

I've never gotten that popup, not once.
Maybe isolated. The pop-up is now gone for me as well.
Sorry for a false alarm.
