I have a need to cut a very precise sharp angle for a flag presentation box and would like some ideas on which tenon jig to buy. I thought of standing the piece on end and tilting the saw blade. The piece is a little over 3 inches…too wide to run through the table saw.
Thanks,
lostcreek

Not sure I understand , a tenon jig won't give you more depth of cut for the 3" on the TS .
Would a chop saw miter box cutting type of method work with the aid of a wedged shaped piece ?

Maybe if you leave enough wood you could simply clamp the work piece to your wedge shaped jig while slicing the angle cut , then recut to size ?
regards dusty , sounds like you were within an hour
