I have an older Delta tenoning jig 34-184. I have just recently bought a Delt unisaw. Left til. The jig won’t line up. Do I have to buy a new jig. There are no holes on the bottom to move the miter bar over. Thanks Hat

Modify the bar to work. Drill and tap new holes.
Won't work the stop plate would then be in front instead of behind the blade. i made a mistake it is a 34-182
I''m not familiar with your model, but won't it work in either of the miter gauge slot? It seems the stop plate could be on either side of the blade depending on which slot used. I am surprised at how little traffic you attracted with this question.Cadiddlehopper
Sorry it took so long to get back to you. Delta ships their tenoning jigs set up for right tilt saws. If you have the manual that came with the jig it will have instructions for changing it over. If you don't have the manual, try to download it from Delta. If you have no luck there let me know and I'll see about sending you the pertinent sections from mine. I have the 34-183, which I believe is nearly identical to yours. No drilling of holes is required by the way.
I agree with dgreen. I have a 34-182 and use it with a left-tilt Unisaw. If you can't download the manual from the web, I'll be glad to send you a copy of the appropriae parts of mine. There are very specific instructions for setting the jig up for left-tilt saws. Email me if you would like.
I have the 34-182 which I purchased for a contractor saw. I have since upgraded to a left tilt saw and have the same problem. I contacted Delta service and was told the only options I have are (1) purchase the revised base plate with additional mounting holes already drilled or (2) drill new holes in the present base. I tried to purchase the newer base but it is no longer available anywhere and I am cautious about drilling new holes for the miter guide bar. I would also appreciate any ideas to make this usable. Thanks, Bill
If you aren't sure how to drill and tap new holes in the base bring it to a local machine shop or perhaps you could find a local trade school to do it. It's really pretty easy to do. It's only a five minute job. Even a local auto repair shop would be equipped to do the job.
