I’ve got a Laguna table saw. It’s a rather large beaste with a 12″ blade. All commercially available tenoning jigs I’ve seen are made for 10″ contractor’s saws. I purchased one of these (Delta) and realized it’s too small for the Laguna TS; it doesn’t reach as far as the saw blade, so I sent it back. Is there such a thing as a “large” commercial tenoning jig? I am about to make a jig myself. However, if there is a suitable commercial jig, I’ll save my time and buy it. Any information is appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Barry,
Unfortunately, we couldn't find any tenoning jigs that fit the larger tablesaw, and I looked at Laguna's Web site and they don't sell that as an accessory.
I did find a link to a forum on Laguna's Web site. Someone posted the same question on that board. Here's a link to the discussion:

Another approach would be to build one. John White, our shop manager, has done just that and I use his jig more often than I use the commercial tenonin jig in our shop. It is very similar to this one that was featured in the Methods of Work department.
Here is yet another article on our site for building a shopmade version. This looks a bit more complicated than John's, but you should be able to get some good ideas from it.
Good Luck!

Thanks for the info. I think I will be building one, as in Finewoodworking #154.
