I’m not a total novice but this is a “Why can’t I do it this way?” question. Since tenons are not all that long, instead of a Delta, Jet, Powermatic or Accura Tenoning Jig, can I use my Radial Arm Saw with a Dado Blade to cut tenons? I would of course use a stop block for repetitive cuts and adjust the height of the pass over the work.
Thanks,
Dave Y

Dave, you definitely can. Set should be sharp and leave nice flat bottoms.

No sweat. I know lots of people who do it this way. I don't have a radial arm saw, or I'd try it myself.

Dave,
You can also put the dado in the tablesaw and do it that way as well.
