Thanks for responding to inquiry (freezing chisels). I talked to the gentleman about how the chisels were frozen and he actually asked me if the chisels were toooo sharp!! I was amazed at his response I offered none. I found his work is suspect at the business I work at. I don’t know exactly how long responses remain posted or if I need to delete them when I’ve read them. Let me know how to proceed. thanks again.

Thank you for responding to the responses. Not everybody does that.
There's no reason to start a new thread for your response. If you had posted it at the end of your original thread, everyone who's interested would have seen it. Most of them will probably see it here because the thread title is a pretty close match, but it's easier to just keep it all in one thread.
No need to delete anything. Disk storage is cheaper than dirt these days, and getting cheaper. Plus, you can only delete your own messages, which wouldn't make much sense, because none of the people who responded are going to delete theirs.
Bob, I think you're making all this harder than it needs to be. If you're not pleased with the chisels you own, buy a better set and use them. I believe the new offering by L-N features cyrogenic treatment if that floats your boat.
Cryo treating a seven dollar chisel is unlikely to produce the results you are hoping for.
You rarely go wrong by taking a 'damn the torpedo' attitude and simply build with what you have at the current moment. If what you have needs constant honing, guess what, you'll get good at quick honings.
