The First portable guided jointer.
Hi Guys and Gills.
This is the first PPGJ (portable-PresEZion-Guided-Jointer)
If the wood is big for your tool and heavy on your back, it may come handy.

I suggest that you resize your photos since anyone without broadband will have to go out for lunch during the time it will take for them to download.
Thanks Doug.
I will post smaller pictures.

Hi Doug.
This is better.

You might want to post this on breaktime where you are more likely to interest door installers.
Doug
hi. i certainly think this is interesting. ive seen things like this for router and circ saws but never for planers. i'm not sure that i see any particular advantage or disadvantage, for someone who doesnt have a router and wants a nice cut, i guess. takes the skill part out of using a plane. interesting.
Hi Ev.
All Hand held power tools can be guided.
The planer takes off when the circular saw or the router have reach the limits.
The idea is not to move the wood. "The Dead Wood Concept"
And do it without the need of 100 jigs and gadgets.
The same guide rail (EZ- Smart) works for all tools and the same SRK (smart router kit)
works with all tools.
EZ and Safe woodworking for all. Portable, Affortable and simple.
Thanks.
