There are quite a few woodworkers on this forum that make their own tools, some professionally. I haven't seen your name here before, so I don't know how active you are around the Knots. We have several plane makers, as well as at least one saw maker. I have made scratch stock (whoopdie doo!), my own marking guages, as well as two planes (woodies).

I had your site open for about two seconds before closing the page. I think it's a mistake to put up a photo of only half of an old match plane set as an opening photo for a plane makers' site. Does anyone there actually make planes? There are already existing sites where plane making is actively discussed, this forum included. I currently watch nine different woodworking forums and don't really have the time needed for them. Adding another is out of the question.
