I had posted a couple weeks ago about “The Woodworking Shows” & finding good deals. One is this weekend (Novi, MI) and I have some Christmas money burning a hole in my pocket. Looking to get a new benchtop planer and haven’t made my final decision yet. A stunning deal at the show might seal the deal. Does Ridgid exhibit at these shows or doesn’t HD support that? If I can do better than the 10% off you can get in the store (by signing up for their card) I think I’d prefer the Ridgid.

I am absolutely positively sure that I have never seen Ridgid at a woodworking show. After all, then HD would have to give you a price lower than the woodworking show in order to satisfy their price match guarantee.

Use the 10% off deal, you won't find Ridgid at a WW show. You'll find deals on Delta and Jet but that's it.
Enjoy the show. They can be a lot of fun.

Ridgid exclusively sells at Home Depot. I used the 10% off plan when I bought my Ridgid planer. I got the coupon when I moved into my new home. I'll also be at the Novi Expo this weekend. Where do you live?

The show was in Phoenix last weekend and I purchased a DeWaltDW733 benchtop planer for $317 including tax.
HEY I was there too...got a great deal on some deep throught clamps, show was OK not great. I would have liked more display of Hand tools not all power toolsmakinsawdust
