Is the thermofused melamine sold at Home Depot a decent quality? I know nothing about it. I need some 3/4″ for some cabinets. Thank You

HD sells Melamine from several sources, much of it from Mexico andor S. America. The pressed wood in the core may be of many species of tree and not at all consistent in density or strength. The surface coating may not be as thick as the material you get when buying from a reputable lumber supplier or plywood dealer. You will notice the difference when cutting the edges as the HD stuff will chip very badly with the best laminate saw blade. "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR."
