I am making a wall cabinet, 28″ h X 20″ w X 8 ” deep. It has 2 window doors 28 high by 10″ W. Any thoughts on the standard thickness of this type of door? 5/8″ too thin? It seems like that is enough and it looks delicate and light.
You guessed it, I am running out of clearence, the overhang I already made offers only this much anyway. So why I am posting? Because I want to know if anyone makes furnurature with 5/8″ doors

Cool hand,
I made a CD cabinet years ago with a 5/8 thick glass door. It looked good and was the right size and heft for the size of cabinet I constructed. Don't allow your own biases to overly influence designs and adaptations. Only by expanding beyond what is current, do we grow.
Wow. My head hurts after that one. (grin)
