I am making my first executive desk with  a solid 3/4” cherry edge jointed top and a second 3/4 “ outer edge for looks … so the top looks 1.5” thick..

I wish to have a couple drawers and again for looks, would love to use undermount slides.. any recommendation for ones that add the least amount of space?
