thinning plastic wood (dap)

Does anyone know if its ok to thin plastic wood with mineral spirits? The can says to use plastic wood solvent? I have never seen that.

My can isn’t very old, was stored properly, just seems a little dry.

Volatile: Acetone, Isopropanol and n-Butyl Acetate

Acetone is the solvent for "Plastic Wood".

Thanks. I put in a little mineral spirits, and it seemed to work. It was hard as a rock today.Webby
