This new board is shiney, but I liked the old one better. I especially liked that I could see who posted what. This one takes too many clicks to get there. And I liked the threaded format of the previous Taunton forums. Now I find I’m visiting here less often.
I know, I know, I’ll probably get used to it. It’s just so different.

I pretty much feel the same way. Whatever happened to "If it ain't broke, don't fix it?"
Kyle & Gary,
My thoughts exactly. I feel like someone had gone out to my shop and taken one of favorite tools, one I used everyday and was comfortable with, and painted it, moved the switch to a different location, and reconfigured the controls. and then returned it to me and told me it is now "better". I don't look forward to visiting here like I used to. GP
gp, I love your description of the changes. In the IT business, many times, software developers design in functionality that they like but really has no great value to the people that are actually going to use it. One great example of this is the grammar checker in word processing software. It cant possibly work on anything anybody writes but it is always new and improved in every release. The idea of just enough, just in time has yet to catch on.
However, I'm not giving up on the folks at Taunton. I know they will take care of problems just as soon as they can.
Hang in there...
